This project focuses on developing 3D printable antimicrobial polypeptide hydrogels for wound healing and tissue engineering. By synthesizing cross-linked polypeptides, it aims to create materials that prevent bacterial growth and support tissue regeneration.
Biomaterials with antimicrobial properties which can be used for wound healing and tissue engineering applications offer high application potential due to the global increase of antimicrobial resistance.
