This project aims to develop innovative chemical strategies to disrupt transcriptional regulation in cancer. By creating small molecules that can rewire gene regulatory circuits, it seeks to provide new therapeutic options for cancers driven by transcriptional dysregulation.
Many cancers are driven by mutations affecting transcription regulation.
Through cancer genome sequencing studies, we understand that these aberrations are pervasive through many layers of gene control.
