The GEO SAFE project focuses on enhancing wildfire management in Europe and Australia by developing a network for knowledge exchange. It aims to create decision support tools, including dynamic risk mapping and resource allocation systems, to improve preparedness and response to wildfires.
In EU and Australia, every year thousands of square miles of forests and other lands burn due to wildfires.
