The GEOMIMIC project focuses on enhancing carbon sequestration in mafic rocks by understanding fluid flow and fracture interactions. It aims to develop a framework for evaluating potential carbon storage sites and improve the efficiency of mineralization processes.
Deep mineralization in mafic rocks has emerged as one of the most secures technologies for long-term carbon sequestration.
