This project focuses on developing a manufacturing process using Net Shape Hot Isostatic Pressing to create Astroloy casings for high-speed turbines. The aim is to minimize material waste and energy consumption while enhancing the thermal and mechanical properties of the final product.
The objectives of the project are:1.
To apply the powder Net Shape Hot Isostatic Pressing (NSHIP) manufacturing route to the fabrication of Astroloy casing for high speed turbine.2.
