The GIST network focuses on developing researchers in Europe who study international trade and foreign direct investment in the service sector. It aims to integrate research with policy-making to address the evolving landscape of service tradability.
Services are currently of great interest and importance to both policy-makers and businesses in Europe, and are a major factor in maintaining European growth and competitiveness over the coming decades.
