GLIBAL – The Global Dimension of the Libyan Crisis will provide a new reading of Libya’s ongoing war from a global perspective.
Breaking with current interpretations that present the war as a result of historically self-inflicted and local problems, the project’s overall objective is to investigate how those processes that were central to the making of the US-led global order unfolded, shaped and were contested in a key country of the EU’s Southern Neighbourhood from 1969 to the present.
