The GlioZERO project focuses on improving treatments for glioblastoma, a challenging brain cancer. It aims to develop advanced drug delivery systems and multimodal therapies while enhancing surgical techniques through innovative imaging and mapping technologies.
Despite advances in diagnosis and therapy, glioblastoma (GBM) remains one of the most challenging cancers to treat, with overall survival under two years and a five-year survival rate of just 5%.
