GloCoBank investigates the evolution of international banking networks throughout the 20th century. By creating a comprehensive dataset, the project aims to uncover the structure and dynamics of bilateral correspondent banking, which underpins global financial systems and trade.
The overall objective of GloCoBank is to analyse the changing shape of international banking networks across the 20th century using an innovative methodology that allows greater specificity and inclusion than ever before.
