GLORIA investigates the safety and cost-effectiveness of adding low-dose glucocorticoids to standard treatment for elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The project includes a pragmatic trial to assess compliance and outcomes, aiming to improve treatment guidelines and patient care in this population.
GLORIA aims to prove that the addition of chronic low dose glucocorticoids (GC) to current antirheumatic therapy is highly cost-effective and safe in elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
