This project investigates the role of the Rev-erbalpha gene in regulating lipid and glucose metabolism, particularly its influence on insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. It aims to understand how circadian rhythms affect metabolic processes, potentially leading to new treatment strategies for metabolic disorders.
