Glyco Imaging aims to create new assays for detecting glycans as biomarkers for aggressive cancers. Utilizing molecularly imprinted polymers, the project focuses on developing reliable diagnostic tools for cancer detection in various biological samples, enhancing understanding of glycan expression in cancer.
The overall objective of Glyco Imaging is to develop novel assays for detection of glycans as biomarkers associated with aggressive and metastatic cancer forms.
The assays will be developed for biomarker detection in blood, urine, cells and tissue.
