This project focuses on identifying cancer-associated glycoproteins in pancreatic cancer to develop novel biomarkers. By analyzing protein glycosylation changes, it aims to enhance the understanding of tumor-stroma interactions and improve cancer detection methods.
In cancer biology, primary tumours and metastasis are embedded in a microenvironment comprised of cells such as tumour associated macrophages and cancer-associated fibroblasts.
