This project investigates how the ability to adapt personal goals can protect against depression and anxiety in young adults. It aims to develop a framework for understanding the relationship between goal flexibility and mental health, utilizing innovative research methods to inform future interventions.
Mental health is a global priority, with disorders such as depression and anxiety projected to become leading causes of disease worldwide by 2030.
This underscores the urgent need for innovative research to understand protective factors and inform preventive measures.
