GOLIAT focuses on the development of hydrogen-powered aviation by establishing safe ground operations for hydrogen aircraft. The project will demonstrate liquid hydrogen refueling at airports and address regulatory needs for integrating hydrogen into airport operations.
Developing aircraft using hydrogen is seen as a major lever to reach net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050 and to secure the long-term sustainability of air travel.
