The GO-SME project aims to enhance support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups by sharing best practices among research funding organizations. It focuses on developing innovative ideas through improved assessment processes and collaboration among agencies to create effective support schemes.
Throughout the EU, the fragmentation of innovation ecosystems and the lack of interconnection between public national and regional agencies appear to be one of the main obstacles to securing support for the most promising SMEs.
