The GRAINS project focuses on understanding the internal structure of near-Earth asteroids through advanced numerical simulations. By combining different modeling techniques, it aims to provide insights into asteroid properties, which are crucial for both exploration and potential hazard mitigation.
The study of asteroids addresses a number of questions relevant for space engineers, planetary scientists and physicists.
