This project aims to develop a compact on-chip supercontinuum light source that emits in both near-infrared and mid-infrared ranges. By utilizing graphene-covered silicon waveguides, it seeks to overcome limitations of existing technologies for broader applications in nonlinear optics.
To pave the way towards the widespread application of on-chip mid-infrared(MIR)-pumped nonlinear supercontinuum light sources, we want to introduce a paradigm shift in integrated nonlinear optics.
