This project develops K-theory and spectral geometry for noncommutative algebras, aiming to establish criteria for distinguishing isomorphism classes of extensions. It seeks to provide new insights into the geometric aspects of noncommutative structures.
In precise mathematical terms, the goal of the project is to develop and apply K-theory and spectral geometry for Galois-type extensions of noncommutative algebras.
We seek verifiable criteria to distinguish different isomorphism classes of principal extensions of noncommutative algebras and K-theory -classes of modules associated to them.
On the geometric side, we aim to achieve a new guiding principle in gluing together smooth noncommutative geometries along boundaries.
