This research addresses the classification and understanding of eating disorders, particularly in young women. It combines genetic, behavioral, and cultural factors to develop targeted treatment strategies.
Eating disorders (EDs) are diseases predominantly affecting young women.
The existing scheme for classifying these disorders is unsatisfactory and anomalous for both clinical practice and research.
