The project organizes a Researchers’ Night in Mainz to celebrate science and foster public engagement with researchers. It features hands-on activities, guided lab tours, and interactive exhibits, allowing the public to connect with scientists and experience various research projects firsthand.
On 28 September 2007, the University of Mainz, the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry and the State Ministry for Education, Research, Youth and Cultural Affairs – with the technical support of TVL Ritter Veranstaltungstechnik – plan to stage a Researchers’ Night with the motto ""Hot and Cool Science"".
Aim of the event is to celebrate science and researchers, while introducing a broad public to the unique research and learning environment in Mainz.
