This project focuses on reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions in vehicles by harvesting electrical energy from exhaust heat. It utilizes advanced thermoelectric materials to convert thermal energy into electricity for vehicle components or hybrid electric vehicle powertrains.
The main objective of the project is to reduce the energy consumption and curb CO2 emissions of vehicles by massively harvesting electrical energy from the heat within the exhaust system and re-use this energy to supply electrical components within the vehicle or to feed the powertrain of hy-brid electrical vehicles (HEV).
