HIGHWAVE investigates the physics of wave breaking to improve predictions of coastal and offshore conditions. The project aims to enhance operational models for maritime infrastructure and energy systems by integrating advanced wave breaking phenomena into forecasting tools.
HIGHWAVE is an interdisciplinary project at the frontiers of coastal/ocean engineering, earth system science, statistics and fluid mechanics that will explore fundamental open questions in wave breaking.
