The HiLICo project is developing high-performance GaN micro-displays with exceptional brightness and low power consumption for avionics applications. It aims to create compact, emissive displays that can be integrated into advanced systems like Head-Up Displays and smart eyewear.
Although the market demand of displays bright enough to allow the diffusion of readable information against a very bright landscape is important, in particular in the avionics application, existing technologies still do not allow the
