This project focuses on creating secure public-key cryptosystems based on lattice problems. By leveraging linear-algebraic number lattices, it aims to develop cryptographic methods that match or exceed the capabilities of existing techniques, such as those using elliptic curves.
The goal of this project is the development of practical, powerful, and provably secure public-key cryptosystems (in the broad sense) based on the hardness of lattice problems.
We propose to create, from linear-algebraic number lattices, a number of high-performance cryptographic constructions at least as powerful as what has been achieved, using other classes of mathematical techniques such as elliptic curves, in the past decade.
