This project focuses on enhancing the capabilities of the Large Hadron Collider by developing a new algorithm for selecting tau-jets. It aims to improve the efficiency and performance of data collection during high-energy physics experiments in the upcoming high-luminosity upgrade.
The leading scientific breakthrough of 2012 came from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiments, which provided evidence for the existence of a Higgs boson in the mass region of ~126 GeVc-2.
This discovery, made by the ATLAS and CMS Experiments at CERN, has finally brought the High-Energy Physics community to the Higgs Era.
