This project focuses on holomorphic dynamics, a field of mathematics that connects pure and applied mathematics. It aims to classify holomorphic dynamical systems, develop efficient polynomial root-finding methods, and link these concepts to geometric group theory to address complex dynamical questions.
Dynamical systems play an important role all over science, from celestial mechanics, evolution biology and economics to mathematics.
Specifically holomorphic dynamics has been credited as “straddling the traditional borders between pure and applied mathematics”.
