This project develops a holographic volumetric display system that converts 3D medical scan data into interactive 3D images without glasses. It aims to enhance the interpretation of medical images, improve surgical procedures, and provide a training tool for medical professionals.
Medical imaging technology has been improving at a rapid pace over the past decades with Ultrasound, CT, PET and MRI scanners increasing in performance.
