The HoloWS project aims to develop an innovative holographic display method that utilizes wavefront shaping in multiple light scattering fields. This approach enhances both the viewing angle and image size of dynamic 3D holograms, overcoming the limitations of current spatial light modulators.
Holographic display is considered the holy-grail of three-dimensional (3D) auto-stereo displays because it generates arbitrary wavefronts providing imagery with all the 3D visual cues.
