The hybrid optomechanical technologies project focuses on developing integrated devices that combine various nanoscale systems. These devices aim to enhance functionalities in fields such as medical imaging and security by enabling efficient signal processing across different frequency domains.
The hybrid optomechanical technologies (HOT) consortium will lay the foundation for a new generation of devices, which connect, or indeed contain, several platforms at the nanoscale in a single “hybrid” system.
