This research examines the relationship between rising income inequality and increased home ownership in post-war society. It analyzes how these trends interact and affect social and economic risks for households through a comprehensive, multi-method approach.
This research project is the first comprehensive interdisciplinary study into the so far unrecognised interplay between two major social trends of the post-war period: the upward trend in income inequality, and the increase of owner-occupation.
