This project investigates how groundwater changes affect plant performance and ecosystem productivity in semi-arid coastal dune ecosystems. By assessing vegetation vulnerability to water table decline, it aims to inform sustainable water management strategies and conservation efforts in these sensitive environments.
Groundwater dynamics and water table level can greatly influence the physiological performance of plant species, composition of vegetation and ecosystem productivity.
