HyCOMP focuses on improving the design and safety standards of composite cylinders used for hydrogen storage. The project aims to generate data to enhance regulatory requirements and optimize cylinder performance for various applications.
Hydrogen storage is a key enabling technology for the use of hydrogen as an energy vector.
To improve volumetric and gravimetric performance, carbon fiber composite cylinders are currently being developed.
