HyP3D aims to develop compact and lightweight high-pressure Solid Oxide Electrolysis stacks for converting electricity into compressed hydrogen. This technology targets applications in energy storage and hydrogen refueling stations, enhancing efficiency and reducing material use through innovative 3D-printed designs.
Reliable and stable operation under pressure is one of the major challenges of currently existing Solid Oxide Electrolysis (SOEL) technologies for its ultimate application in relevant sectors such as energy storage and transport.
