This project seeks to develop biodegradable coatings for food packaging to replace conventional plastic materials. By creating hybrid coatings from biopolymers, it aims to enhance barrier properties while maintaining environmental sustainability.
Today, fresh food as well as convenience food is sold in packages.
Hygienic conditions, long shelf life and easy availability of these packed products account for our standard of living.
