HYPMED aims to enhance breast cancer diagnosis through a novel imaging tool that integrates a digital PET detector with MRI technology. This system will provide high-resolution imaging and enable targeted biopsies, improving non-invasive cancer characterization and treatment guidance.
Breast cancer represents a leading cause of cancer death in women and a major socio-economic issue.
