The I-FUSION project is developing a Fuel Quality Sensing technology for vehicles to optimize fuel consumption and reduce emissions. By providing real-time fuel composition data, it aims to enhance engine performance and lower environmental impact.
The environmental emissions impact of transport is currently a major concern and has to be minimized at a world-wide level (Carbon footprint, NOx, Particulates, Soot).
