The i-GAME project focuses on developing technologies for automated driving by enhancing communication between vehicles and roadside equipment. It aims to create safe, interoperable systems that can handle various traffic scenarios, utilizing supervisory control for effective vehicle maneuvers.
The objective of i-GAME is to develop technologies that speed-up the real-life implementation of automated driving, which is supported by communication between the vehicles and between vehicles and road-side equipment.
These automated systems must be safe and able to cope (to a certain extend) with different circumstances.
And the technology must not be too specific to be able to be used in a wide range of vehicles and traffic scenarios.
