IBL-302 is a novel small molecule therapy targeting breast cancer by inhibiting both the PI3K and PIM pathways. This dual action aims to induce cancer cell death, offering a potential new treatment option for patients who do not respond to existing therapies.
Breast cancer is already a leading cause of death among women and most common form of cancer among European women with almost 500,000 cases in 2012 and over 1.7 million new cases globally.
