The iClimateAction project enhances collaboration among key climate data organizations to improve the management and use of climate data. It aims to create a more coherent global observing system for Essential Climate Variables, supporting evidence-based decision-making for climate adaptation and mitigation.
The iClimateAction project addresses the need of increased coordination and synergies among the Global Climate Observing System (GCOS), the Group on Earth Observations (GEO), and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), to improve the international alignment across organisations regarding creation, management and utilization of climate data.
