ICONET aims to revolutionize logistics through a networked architecture that utilizes Internet of Things capabilities. The project focuses on automating shipment routing and enhancing efficiency by treating cargo as smart packets, optimizing logistics operations across interconnected hubs.
ICONET will significantly extend state of the art research and development around the PI concept in pursuit of a new networked architecture for interconnected logistics hubs that combine with IoT capabilities and aiming towards commercial exploitation of results.
