The ICOS-INWIRE project aims to enhance greenhouse gas monitoring capabilities by developing autonomous sensor systems and improving data processing within existing networks. It seeks to ensure interoperability with other monitoring systems to support environmental management.
The fundamental objective of the ICOS-INWIRE project is to enhance the capabilities of the ICOS infrastructure and fill in critical gaps for monitoring fluxes and concentrations of greenhouse gases, in order to meet the needs of operational users in the GMES program.
