The IDE4L project focuses on automating distribution networks to improve energy management. It integrates various energy resources and technologies to enhance the reliability and efficiency of electricity distribution, accommodating renewable energy sources and enabling real-time network management.
The IDE4L project will define, develop and demonstrate the entire system of distribution network automation, IT systems and applications for active network management.
Active distribution networks will utilize distributed energy resources (DERs) for network management including both real time operation and long-term network planning viewpoints.
