This project investigates the molecular mechanisms of vernalization in lilies to enhance flower production efficiency. By identifying molecular markers, it aims to optimize the cold exposure required for flowering, ultimately benefiting the flower bulb industry.
The flower bulb industry worldwide and specifically in Holland, and the lily sector in particular, represent an important part of the floriculture market.
