This project explores how individuals determine the truthfulness of information by integrating social identity and computational modeling. It aims to understand the emotional and cognitive processes that influence acceptance of information, particularly in the context of misinformation and conspiracy theories.
Understanding how people discern the “truthfulness” of information is of fundamental importance to science.
