The project aims to create an affordable energy efficiency solution for small and medium enterprises by utilizing a Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring algorithm. This tool will help businesses monitor energy usage and implement tailored efficiency measures to reduce costs.
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs, i.e. small offices, restaurants, coffees, retailers, pharmacies, small hotels, etc) typically have electricity bills that can easily exceed 500€/month and high savings potential (above 20%).
