This research project explores the connections between Cartan subalgebras and various mathematical theories, aiming to address significant open questions in the fields of algebra and topology. It seeks to enhance understanding and foster new interactions among these areas.
Recently, we discovered that the notion of Cartan subalgebras builds bridges between C*-algebras, topological dynamics, and geometric group theory.
