This project focuses on understanding how immune function deteriorates with age and its link to chronic diseases. By analyzing large datasets of immune cells and health records, the research aims to identify factors influencing immune health and disease risk across the human lifespan.
The extending human lifespan and its associated accumulation of morbidities due to chronic disorders calls for new models to accelerate the early detection, prognosis and treatment of chronic conditions.
