The IMPACT project aims to enhance mental health treatment for psychotic disorders through a mobile application that supports Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It focuses on adapting the app for clinical use, ensuring it integrates well into healthcare systems and improves patient outcomes.
Mental health problems constitute a major individual, family and public health concern, affecting up to 30% of the population.
Yet, both pharmacological and psychological interventions only reach modest effect sizes.
