This project investigates geoengineering concepts aimed at mitigating climate change by manipulating the Earth's radiative budget. It uses climate models to assess the effectiveness and potential side effects of these concepts, providing insights for policymakers and the scientific community.
The overall goal of this project is to significantly increase the level of knowledge about the feasibility and implications of novel options (or “geoengineering concepts”), proposed recently to limit climate change.
